What You Need to Buy Before You Start Cloaking

One of the problems that someone new to cloaking experiences is that they are overwhelmed with the amount of information and products that are available on the topic of cloaking. All this information is quite scattered and making it even harder to wade through all the information is the fact that each person has differing views on strategies and ulterior motives for recommending products. This post is designed to help you save money (by not wasting money on unnecessary products) and give you only the necessary tools you need to be successful cloaking.

Hosting:

DreamHost - I recommend that if do not have a shared hosting account where you can host unlimited domains that you check out DreamHost. DreamHost has proven to be a perfect host for cloaked websites and specifically Search Engine Cloaker. They are also very reasonably priced at only $5.95 per month which allows you to host unlimited domains on their server and they also offer a 97 day money back guarantee, so you can’t go wrong. They also have very good technical support and are familiar with the needs of us cloakers since so many cloakers use their services.

Products:

Express Website Installer - EWI is my personal product that is designed to tie everything together and allow you to work extremely efficient. It has a built in content extractor which allows you to grab content based on your cloaked sites topic. EWI then formats this content and then runs it through a synonym generator which makes the content unique yet retaining its grammar and human readability, which is perfect for getting ranked in the search engines. EWI also has a built in auto pinger which will get you listed in the search engines extremely quickly. Finally, the main feature and purpose of EWI is to, with the click of a button, give you a perfectly optimized cloaked installation that would take 2 hours of manual work…you have to love automation.

Static Add-on - The static add-on protects you from the search engines double spidering a cloaked page in a short timespan and then comparing the results. If the search engines see two different pages then they will know you are dynamically generating content and penalize your website. Buy the static add-on to protect you from this potential problem.

Unlimited SEC License - If you plan on building more than one cloaked website (which I don’t see why you wouldn’t) then you will need to purchase the unlimited SEC license. Each time you install SEC on a different domain you need a new license, so by purchasing the unlimited SEC license you will save money in the longterm. I think the unlimited SEC license costs $120.

Keyword Research:

I am not going to talk too much about keyword research tools. There are a number of them on the market including WordTracker, Wordze, KeywordCountry, and KeywordDiscovery. All of them have their pros and cons so which ever one you choose you should be happy with it. I highly recommend that you analyze the results that a keyword tool spits out and then use your brain to come up with your own keywords. I don’t even use keyword research tools anymore because I find that I do better with my own keywords that no one else thinks of.

Above is all you need and all I use. Some of those other products might be beneficial, but from my experience the cost/benefit of those other products doesn’t justify purchasing them and with EWI you don’t need them.
